FAQ
  • How is renewable energy more affordable?
On average, solar panels that are created from silicon-based solar cells can covert between 15% and 20% of the sun's energy into technology-ready electricity. Depending on the size of your home, you can power your entire home with enough solar panels. An average sized solar panel is 17.6 square feet, which can provide 265 watts in direct sunlight. This creates 15+ watts per square foot. Homes typically require between 3000 to 5000 watts. If you use 10+ solar panels, you can completely cut out the cost of utility bills.
  • Is green energy more efficient than conventional technology?
Green technology can provide 70% less construction waste, as often the items used are recycled or made of renewable materials. Additionally, once installed, green technology can provide 20% to 50% less energy use. This includes 30% to 50% less water use, and of course, 40% lower carbon emissions.
  • What are some rental options?
Joy Green Energy Apartments intends to provide 2 to 4 bedroom apartments for 6 month and 12 month leases at an affordable rate of between $1000 to $2200 based upon the amount of bedrooms in each apartment. This rate may changed based on your neighborhood, however, it will always be below the avereage cost. This will be announced at a later date.
  • When can we expect available apartments?
Because this company is a startup, it is possible that the first apartment may go out as late as the end of 2020, or as early as summer 2020. If there are any delays, everyone will be notified via email.
  • Is there a waitlist?
Not exactly. But you are welcome to join a waitlist so that when your apartment lease is up, you can have priority to the next available apartment. We'll try to prepare it at this opportunity.
