Launched in the summer of 2019 by Shinei Gibbs, Joy Green Energy Apartments aims to improve the living circumstances of all professionals living check-to-check each and every month, while also helping tenants live in accordance with the environment in a sustainable way. The solution is to reduce rent and incorporate the latest technology that harmlessly harnesses natural resources in a more efficient and cost-effective way than conventional housing.
“We need to break this cycle of paying exorbitant fees for rent,” says company CEO and founder, Shinei. “Plus, everyday we are isolated from nature, and for that reason we neglect the environment. The more we include our natural environment into our daily lives, the more aware we become.”
This startup is still in pre-seed stage and is in the process of sourcing capital. It aims to secure $325,000 in its first stage of funding this year, in addition to seeking a potential partner to help scale up the company. It aims to launch in South Florida, before moving to other states.
